"This was the first time I took a workout program seriously and I am so glad I chose to have a trainer guide me through the experience. Brandon kept me motivated and pushed me to reach my full potential. The best days were when we measured and I could really see my improvement. At my first evaluation my biceps were 13”, chest and shoulders were 39” and 46”, respectively, my waist was at 41½”, and my total body fat was 29.8%! My first session challenged me with bench pressing 50lbs, leg presses at 70lbs, 33 sit-ups in one minute, and 8 push ups in one minute. 3 months later, I gained over an inch on my biceps, chest, and shoulders. I lost 3 inches on my waist and lost almost 7% of my body fat. I bench pressed 100lbs, did leg presses at 230lbs, 30 push ups in a minute, 51 sit-ups, and improved my flexibility tremendously. I look better. I feel better. Overall, a very satisfied client! "

"I was first introduced to Tobias in June 2008, where he was performing an internship at the gym and studying for his CPT certificate at the same time. I just wanted to take this time to personally thank each of you for helping me get closer to my personal fitness goals. I want to thank you Phil because, if it hadn’t been for your personality when I started, I don’t know if I would have stayed coming to the gym as I really didn’t like anything that had to do with weights, but I liked meeting with you and because of it I feel like we have developed a lifelong friendship. So I know you were there to set the stage for me to be “Okay’ with working out.



Then It was meant for me to begin to work with Josh, as “Josh Don’t Play” and he knows exactly what I need and he knows how to get it out of me. Josh as hard as you are, I like that I have also seen the compassionate side of you as you have been compassionate with me during the “playback” moments I have had and I thank you for that.



But needless to say, Saturday was my Fortieth birthday and I not only felt fabulous, but I looked it also! I know, I know, beauty is pain.. and it’s not over yet, and I am cool with that and the work that still needs to be done, but what I wanted to achieve by my birthday, I did, and that was feeling good and looking good!



So I just wanted to take the time to thank you both for helping me get there! Phil I will talk to you soon and Josh we have to get our next appt set.

I have been working with Christine Quilici from TruSelf Training since January, 2010. She is consistently
dedicated to my physical and nutritional development. Even when I went away for
vacation in the summer, she willingly took the time to help design a workout I could
do on my own.



I believe that based on Christine’s background/schooling, she understands the
body, its chemistry, and its incredible strength. This education is invaluable as I
learn more about what it takes for me and my own body to tone up, slim down, and
maintain overall healthy eating habits. Christine understands this and tailors my
workouts and my diet depending on my goals.



After nine months with Christine I figured I knew what I needed to know. Wrong! I’m
still learning. Thanks to her commitment to listen to the client’s goals and evaluate
what is working and what is not I am receiving the benefits of my efforts. It’s not
just about the weight lifting. It gets down to the grams of sugar, fat, and calories
I eat. I had no idea how much effect these things really do have on a body. It goes
deeper, and Christine knows how to evaluate changes in the body, food intake, and
weight management. So, where I thought I’d have a trainer telling me how to lift a
barbell, I got much more--more education, more support, more tailored workout,
better health, and less inches etc.

Before I began working out with Christine Quilici from TruSelf Training about two years ago, I had almost no flexibility, endurance, balance or strength. I would go for power walks now and then and lift weights in the gym, but I had no focus, plan or guidance. I also could not even get down on the floor. Today, I am stronger, fitter, and my balance and stability are greatly improved. I regularly get down on the mat and do one-minute planks, crunches and even yoga routines. Christine has really helped me to focus on my health and her workout sessions consistently target different areas of the body. She also reminds me that a good diet is essential if one is to get the most benefit from personal training.



Christine is extremely knowledgeable and is very careful to let you know if your form is not correct. This was a critical lack when I was training by myself - not knowing if I was performing the exercise properly. It's a great feeling to know I'm doing the exercise correctly and thus getting the most benefit. Christine also will not give you an exercise that she knows you can't do - you may think you can't do it, but she knows you can and will push you in a good way to just do it.



I am a new person physically because of working with Christine. I have more confidence and energy than ever before, which positively affect the personal and professional areas of my life. If you just want to cruise along, do the minimum, have someone to chat with while you work out now and then, Christine is not the personal trainer for you. However, if you want to be pushed, if you want to excel and progress steadily toward your fitness goals, then she's the one. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Christine Quilici: We so appreciate you and the tremendous results you have accomplished with my sister Lisa Goldberg. Lisa started on a weekly training program with you in March 2007. At that time she was over weight, she walked with hesitancy, she was on a variety of medications, needed assistance walking up steps, her stamina was weak, she had limited flexibility and had no muscle tone. Lisa is a 57 year old woman with Down Syndrome. Many of the physical concerns are characteristic of Down Syndrome. You approached the opportunity to improve Lisa’s physical health with enthusiasm and compassion. Lisa looks forward to her sessions with you and is very pleased with her transformation in all areas.
